Happy Pride Month! Here is a little information post, a repost actually, but with new stuff. Nothing fancy. Watch the video from my favorite (gay) film critic Alonso Duralde about the history of lesbians in cinema and then browse through this list. It is far from complete, but lets face it, a lot of lesbian cinema makes me want to throw my television, computer and most electronics out the window because they are so bad (Go Fish, Claire of the Moon, etc). These films range from stellar to alright, but I’m sure there are still a few decent ones I missed. For the TV section, I’ve only linked shows that have (or had) a lesbian as a main character/series regular. No stunt “suddenly lesbian for sweeps” shows here!

Unfortunately, no downloads here (Tumblr police are watching, y’all). The links direct you to the project’s IMDB pages, but if you happen to use this information to … say… search these titles on Google with the phrase “.avi”, I’m sure you might come up with a few hits.
